The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program allows employers to hire skilled foreign workers and international graduates who wish to stay in Canada after completing their studies. With generally low language score requirements, this program is accessible to a wide range of skilled and semi-skilled professionals.
Introduction To Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program
The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program helps employers fill job vacancies they have been unable to fill locally by hiring qualified candidates who may be either overseas or temporarily living in Canada.
Employers can hire through one of three streams:
- Atlantic International Graduate Program
- Atlantic High-Skilled Program
- Atlantic Intermediate-Skilled Program
To qualify, applicants must have a job offer from an employer designated by the provincial government of the Atlantic province where they will be working. Once they receive a valid job offer and meet all program criteria, candidates can apply for permanent residence in Canada.
