Introduction To Yukon Community Pilot Program

The Yukon Community Pilot (YCP) is a unique immigration initiative introduced by Canada’s northern territory, Yukon. As a part of the Yukon Nominee Program, this pilot allows individuals with a provincial nomination to obtain a special work permit that lets them work for multiple employers within a participating Yukon community. The YCP takes an innovative approach to supporting local labor needs and was initially set to run from January 2020 to June 2023.

Requirements

The Yukon Community Pilot (YCP) enables applicants with a provincial nomination from the Yukon government to work two or three part-time jobs concurrently to fulfill full-time employment requirements. These jobs must be continuous (non-seasonal) and located within one of the designated participating communities in Yukon.
