Provincial Nominee Program
Provincial Nominee Programs
All Canadian provinces and territories, except Quebec, operate their own Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) that nominate candidates wishing to settle in their region for expedited immigration processing. Each PNP has unique criteria, rules, and province-specific “streams” — specialized immigration pathways designed to target specific groups such as skilled workers, students, and business professionals. This approach enables each province and territory to attract immigrants with the exact skills, experience, and expertise needed to fulfill the local labor market demands of their unique economies.
